The HistoricalData.net options archive contains end-of-day chains for US stocks, ETFs and indices, with history dating to February 2002. The files include quotes, trading activity, computed Greeks and implied volatility. Coverage and field availability vary by date and contract.

HistoricalData.net stock and options archives are one-time purchases with an included update period. Separate subscriptions provide continued updates. Downloaded files remain usable under the purchased license after updates end.

How we prepare the data

HistoricalData.net stock bars use consolidated trade data from US exchanges and reporting venues, including off-exchange reporting and OTC markets. The options archive combines historical end-of-day records with ongoing daily capture.

HistoricalData.net organizes market records into documented CSV files, calculates stock price adjustments and option Greeks and implied volatility, and checks files before publication. The methodology explains the calculations, session conventions and differences between historical periods.

Inspecting the files
